In many countries reality once again beats bureaucracies and one of the main ways to stop the CoronaVirus and try to minimize economic or functional impacts is doing teleworking. Telework allows us to communicate and coordinate in isolation, although it is very clear that it is not that it serves everything. However, technology is at an optimal point in many lines to replace many face-to-face activities through artificial intelligence, robots, bots, social media, big data and more. Telework can be defined, such as the performance of paid activities using ICT support, as long as activities or functions are susceptible to physical installations thanks to technology. Surely teleworkers are a very smaller percentage currently considering the potential to do so that exists. At Cenco it is something that we normally develop from almost our beginnings. We have a team distributed in different parts of the world and from each of our points we work with the utmost effort and affection for the world. We are always learning and trying to improve, this happens and will happen. Telework has other benefits beyond specifically today which is the reduction of COVID-19 contagion and is for example the reduction of fixed costs and the increase in the productivity of our workers. The family and the whole environment must understand that the mom or dad will be in the house teleworking and they are not on vacation, and of course it takes a high level of organization and commitment from all involved.

Recommendations for teleworking and avoiding occupational contagion

Below, we share some recommendations that we practice that are general recommendations that companies are adopting when working in this way: 1) Set individual and group work goals that are visible and measurable by all with the to generate concrete actions and increase the pace of creation. 2) Deploy content in the cloud, not only to have open communication channels but to optimize efforts with productivity tools. For example, using Google Docs or others.  3) Have adequate workspaces that encourage "feel like in the office". A clean, tidy and comfortable space, even if it is a smaller sector of the house. 4) It is recommended to create "office mode" changing rooms, as it has been proven to help maintain "professional perception" and avoid feelings of laziness during the day. 5) It is recommended to take active breaks during the day that serve to recover energy and "improve" performance. These active breaks are equivalent to having a coffee, walking or getting up from the workplace and moving your legs. 6) It is advisable to remain in permanent contact with the colleagues in what is being worked on to coordinate. In practice, video calls would be a better communicative vehicle. Apps like Skype, Hangouts Meet or Slack are the ones we use the most. 7) Have permanent communication with the different teams where we actively participate. They can be video conferences or calls or others. And today?

Today is the time to do, test and generate actions that prioritize the common good and it is not time to evaluate, criticize and/or generate panic.

Today from Cenco we offer to help, write to us and we will be willing to help. We'll contact you shortly. We have easily installable applications to help the attention of customer service requests, listen to them on social networks, anticipate and propose solutions. We develop very fast applications in advanced technologies so that they can be used from a pc, laptop, tablet or cell phone. If you don't have the servers, you have compute spaces so you can run from the cloud.
